Hein Farm is a third-generation family farm located in Farmington, Connecticut. The farm is run by David Hein who has been farming since 1971. David has a degree in Plant Science from the University of Connecticut’s Radcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture.

A wide array of vegetables and flowers are cultivated on 80-100 acres of farmland in Farmington. Greenhouses provide a variety of bedding plants and vegetable plants for your gardening needs.

We grow our produce using an integrated pest management program, which minimizes the amount of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals used to produce healthy plants and produce.

Our produce is sold at the farm stand located right on the farm at 303 Meadow Road in Farmington, CT to the Hartford Regional Farmers Market, local restaurants, and through our Community Supported Agriculture Program (CSA). Stop by our stand to discover the difference farm fresh produce makes.
